6 days and counting...

On Friday our little man will turn 1. It is hard to believe that he has been here for a whole year! We certainly don't know what we would do without him. It is amazing how many things he has learned how to do in a year, and how much his personality has developed.

For the next six days I am going to be adventourous and blog a new post each day. Each post will be about something that makes Owen, Owen.

So, to start off - his love for food.

The boy has not met a food he doesn't like. He will eat anything and everything and the more seasoned the better!

He gets very excited at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks...


We are now in the process of trying to learn how to use utensils and he is actually doing pretty good.


His favorite foods? Berries, berries, pears, watermelon, did I mention berries? He also loves tomatoes, hominy, polenta, beans (it doesn't matter the kind) and guacamole. Aunt Rebekah calls him her Little Forager.


He has pretty much shunned all baby food. And he will only let you feed him if it is something off of your plate.


His latest discovery? Havarti cheese. He LOVES it, and probably would eat a whole package if I let him. Andy and I just hope he stays such an adventurous eater!

Such a ham! Oh yeah, he loves that too!
