So, I woke up this morning in desperate need of a vacation with my partner in crime. Alas, it is still months away before we will be tearing up the California coast line, so instead I let my mind wonder to great times of the past.

Nutella, croissants, limoncello (yuck!), hiking up steep mountains for the stinkiest cheese on earth, hitchhiking in a mink coat, dancing on tables with Germans at a beer fest, picnics on hotel beds, German cookies, swimming with Italians in “healing waters”, Italian bathing suits (GASP!), pig, coughing like I have tuberculosis over salsa samples, “Where’s Maggie??”, yummy yummy food, lots of laughs, and I saved the best for last….. Baby Jesus Wine.

A New Year

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know that we sure did, lots of good food, lots of goodies, and lots of time with family. Owen had a great first Christmas, he had a lot of fun watching everyone open their gifts.

One thing we got to do was spend time in the country. That meant hiking and fishing. Here are some great pictures of our little country boy. Doesn't he look so cute?
