A Day at the Farm

Owen and I went to see my cousin Clint graduate from high school a few weekends ago. While we were up in Oklahoma we went to visit my Aunt Diane & Uncle Tommy at their farm. We saw chickens, a garden, cows, and llamas! Here are a few photos from our day.

Our Weekend in Pictures

For the first time in a while we had a lazy weekend at home. So, we filled it with lots of fun and relaxing.

Doesn't this look like relaxing to you?

We had a pool party! Aunt Rebekah came over and Owen had his first experience with a blow up pool. We had great fun. Owen had the best time with the water hose. Typical boy!

On Sunday, after church, Owen and I went to visit Dad at the Fire Station.

I think this steering wheel is the stuff that Owen's dreams are made of.

And finally - I thought this last picture was too funny not to post. On Sunday evening before bath time Owen was running around the house in his diaper. In the process of "working" on his fire truck I snapped this great photo...

Does this diaper come with a belt? Or maybe suspenders?

A Trip to the Park

Today when I got home from work Owen and I walked down to the nearest park. He enjoyed the swings just a little bit!

He also like the slide, but he was more interested in climbing up than sliding down.

And here he is checking out the construction of the playground. Looks pretty stable!

Big Happenings in the Month of May - Part I

May is only eleven days old and we are already pooped! Here are just a few things that have happened so far.....

Grandpa Gary became a CASA Advocate. We are so proud of him! He is such a good example of making time to positively impact your community. Owen and I hope we grow up to be great like him.

My Grandpa is Great!

Owen has been a little model since the day he was born. My boy does not just smile for the camera he truly gives you variety - and as Miss Tyra would say "He is Fierce!". (Rebekah - the Tyra reference is for you!) Here lately he has modeled for Mom, Dad, Granparents, and even for a famous photographer who was shooting stock for Foundation publications! Here is a recent photo that I love that Grandpa Gary took.

Rebekah is turning 21! Can you believe she is that OLD??? Owen loves his aunt Geekah and unfortunately he is showing signs of being as big of a goofball as she is.

My Aunt is Great!
Disclaimer: Rebekah does not actually look this young anymore.
But we like to remember her the way she looked in her youth!

And last (for now) - Barbara turned 50! We had a fun party celebrating 50 great years, and we can't wait for 50 more! Look how cute she was!

My Grandma is Great!

Part II coming soon(ish).
